Identify and Prioritize Your Savings Goals

This workshop will help you start to think about the savings goals that are important to you and understand how you can achieve them.

Create a Rainy Day Fund

In this mini-workshop, you’ll learn more about the bedrock of any solid financial foundation–the rainy day fund, also known as the emergency savings fund. You’ll also learn how much you need to save and different ways to find the money to put in your fund.

Want to learn more? See additional upcoming workshops for 2025 below.

Updating your retirement beneficiary information.

Because certain life events can impact your Cooper retirement savings plan, it’s important to review the beneficiaries for your retirement account. To update your retirement savings plan beneficiary information, click here. Once you have completed your beneficiary designation(s), you will be able to view them on NetBenefits. Please be sure to review your choices regularly and update them after life events such as a marriage, divorce, birth of a child, or a death in the family.

Roth In-Plan Conversion

A Roth in-plan conversion allows you to transfer a rollover-eligible distribution from your workplace savings plan directly to a Roth account within the same plan. Eligible assets can include your own contributions or assets rolled in from a former employer. Fidelity does not charge a fee to convert eligible contributions to an in-plan Roth account.

To learn more about Roth and what your workplace savings plan allows, please call your plan’s toll-free number at 800.343.0860 to speak with a Fidelity representative.
